Axia

Axia prevents backward rotation of the pelvis.

Your Health
Good support of the pelvis will prevent a curved back and static muscle load. It's therefore essential that the backrest and the seat move synchronously so that the lower back is well supported. The Axia is characterised by the association of seat and back angles which move simultaneously at a set angle and combined with the support points, give correct support to the pelvis.

Axia Technology
With the Axia the foremost part of the seat is fixed, so that only the rearmost part moves with the mechanism. The result is optimum support and comfort when sitting passively and correct activation of back and stomach muscles when sitting actively.

Arms are fixed to the foremost part of the chair and do not move with the mechanism, this ensures the lower arms receive optimum support in any position. The split seat also enabled the feet to keep in contact with the floor at all times.
